DESCRIPTION:LURE EXHIBITION TOURS\nJoin gallery staff for a free\, drop-in tour of Lure.  \n \nABOUT THE EXHIBITION \nFrom subsistence to livelihood\, from sport to ritual\, fishing links people from coast to coast to coast. This thematic group exhibition includes work by Indigenous and non-Indigenous artists across Canada with ties to the Pacific\, Arctic and Atlantic Oceans\, and the freshwater bodies that flow between. Together the artists explore the complex social and cultural significance of the ancient yet everyday activity of fishing. \nLure is generously supported by the Deux Mille Foundation.

DESCRIPTION:LIFE DRAWING ARTIST SESSIONSNon-Instructional Studio Sessions\n  \nEvergreen Cultural Centre is offering Life Drawing Artist Sessions. The Life Drawing Artist Sessions are non-instructional and focused on the observation and rendering of the human figure. We provide studio space\, easels\, and models for each session. Observing real-life models and practicing different poses will help hone your eye\, enhancing your understanding of proportions and anatomy. As you grow more comfortable with these basics\, you can start experimenting with different poses\, adding complexity and depth to your work. \n  \nPlease note\, art materials & supplies are not supplied for these sessions. \n  \nCLASS INFORMATION  \nMonday Evenings\, bi-monthly |  6 – 9PM$15/session suggested donationAge 18+ \n\nLIFE DRAWING CODE OF CONDUCT \n  \nOur interactions and conduct towards one another hold great significance. As we gather in a shared environment\, our aim is to foster an inclusive community that encourages the collective exchange of knowledge\, creativity\, and artistic expression. \nIt is essential to approach ourselves\, fellow participants\, visitors\, and staff with respect\, openness\, and acceptance\, regardless of factors such as ethnicity\, gender\, gender identity and expression\, economic status\, sexual orientation\, disability\, physical appearance\, age\, national origin\, race\, and religious identity and/or beliefs. Any form of inappropriate or harassing comments or behaviour\, whether in person during a workshop or studio session\, or online within Evergreen Cultural Centre\, will not be tolerated. \nWe must also honour personal boundaries and personal space.
