Full-Day Camp | Hybrid Visual & Performing Arts

Step into the world of style, sustainability, and self-expression at our Fashion-Themed Hybrid Summer Camp with artist Cyd Eva and performing arts leader Kim Bunka!  

Mornings are dedicated to fashion and design — campers will explore wearable art through sketching original concepts, experimenting with colour and pattern, and transforming recycled materials into bold, one-of-a-kind creations. Hands-on projects in illustration, textiles, and upcycling encourage creative confidence and personal style.  

Afternoons bring the creations to life through performing arts with Kim Bunka. Campers will explore movement, character, and storytelling, using their fashion designs as inspiration to express themselves on stage.  

The week culminates in a celebratory showcase where campers present both their designs and their performances. Perfect for young creators who love to design, craft, and shine in multiple ways!

Monday – Friday, August 17th – 21st | 9am – 4pm
$310 (285 + $25 Clothing Supply Fee)/person
Ages 7 – 12

ABOUT OUR EDUCATORS

Kim Bunka: Kim took her first Musical Theatre class in 1998 and has been in love with it ever since! She is a graduate of Grant MacEwan University’s Theatre Arts Program and has been in over 45 musicals and plays in Edmonton and the Lower Mainland. Kim also spent eight years as a performer and stage manager with Disney Cruise Line. She began teaching voice lessons and musical theatre straight out of theatre school and loves inspiring the next generation of theatre enthusiasts, as well as creating a safe place for students of all ages to express themselves.
Cydney Eva: Cyd is a queer visual artist, fashion designer, face painter, teacher, dancer, and installation artist based in Coquitlam, BC. She holds a BFA in Visual Art from Simon Fraser University, a Fashion Design degree from Cape Town College of Fashion Design, and has trained in surface pattern design, creative entrepreneurship, and pattern drafting.
