Myths and Mirrors

MYTHS AND MIRRORS
Presented by Theatrix

Every story has two sides.

When two students stumble across a mysterious book, they’re pulled into a world where myths, fairy tales, and folklore from around the world have been thrown wildly out of order—and may not let them leave unless they can set things right. As they journey through the book and encounter its mythological characters, they begin to question the stories they’ve always believed—the ones they tell about others, and the ones they tell about themselves.

Blending humour, music, and characters from diverse cultural traditions, Myths and Mirrors explores how the stories we tell can divide us or bring us together. In a world quick to judge, this imaginative production invites audiences to look again, find the common threads, and reconsider what they think they see.

Created and performed by students aged 7 – 13, this 45-minute show is suitable for all ages.
