REIMAGINE & REINVENT: UPCYCLED FASHION FOR KIDS
with Educator Cyd Eva
Give old clothes a bold new life in this hands-on upcycle fashion workshop for young makers. Participants will learn how to transform pre-loved garments into one-of-a-kind wearable pieces using sewing, hand stitching, embroidery, fabric painting, embellishing, surface design, and creative styling.Â
Â
Guided by artist and fashion designer Cyd Eva, students will explore colour, pattern, texture, and personal expression while building practical skills in sustainable design and creative reuse. Clothing will be provided, and participants are encouraged to bring a few items of their own to reinvent. With access to sewing machines, a serger, and plenty of support, each student will leave with personalized fashion pieces—and fresh inspiration to keep repairing, remixing, and reimagining their wardrobe.Â
