Whether she’s musing on living in the Anthropocene (Waiting for the End of the World; Paradise Is Burning), paying homage to the weather (Rainy Town), or serenading a unique piece of local architecture (Vancouver Special), LittleFox bandleader and songwriter Alison Jenkins’ original songs brim with atmosphere, humour, and a strong sense of place. Haunting vocal harmonies, lush string arrangements, and folk style songs you’ll be singing along to… Join LittleFox and her all-female ensemble, the Vixens, as they explore what it means to be a human (or a fox) in these unprecedented times.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
The brainchild of songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Alison Jenkins, LittleFox features a rotating cast of musicians with one thing in common: they are a tightlyknit group of friends who love playing music together. Their bond translates to an energetic and always-mesmerizing live show, whether it’s the all-female Vixens, the 9-piece MegaFox Orchestra, or the core 5-piece folk-rock ensemble. A new EP, Small Tremors, was released in late 2026, and features a broad spectrum of styles, from the haunting solo blues of the title track, to the upbeat pop of Vancouver Special. LittleFox’s other EPs, Desire Lines and Ghost In This House, are available on Bandcamp and all streaming services.
