ABOUT THE ARTIST
With over five decades of songwriting and performing under his belt, Ivan Boudreau delivers a lifetime of stories to the stage. Born in Nova Scotia and shaped by youthful years in Boston and Toronto, this wandering minstrel and (now) BC resident’s music reflects the voices, struggles, and quiet moments of everyday life.Â
A natural storyteller, Ivan’s performances are intimate and deeply human—less a concert and more a conversation through song. Currently Ivan is collaborating with writers from Texas to the Maritimes and other parts of Canada, allowing him to continue to craft songs that portray the real emotions and experiences of people who have lived and laboured across this land.
His warm, expressive delivery draws listeners in, his songs resonate with the profound insights of a true listener and storyteller and life’s simple truths.Â
This is music that doesn’t rush—inviting audiences to slow down, listen closely, and feel something real.Â
