ABOUT THE ARTIST
Through thousands of concerts around the world, Silk Road Music delivers virtuosity and imagination. A traditional Chinese Pipa (lute) weaving around a colourful thread of world instruments: Flamenco guitar, Indian flute, Middle Eastern Oud and world percussion. Qiu Xia He (Chu Sha Her) and Andre Thibault, a husband-and-wife team, combine their skills and talent, share the excitement of this new breed of Canadian multicultural music.
