Acting for Musical Theatre
With Lauren Hillman and Morgan Mans
Acting for Musical Theatre focuses on developing technique, presence, and authentic storytelling. Students will work on connecting truthful emotion to text and song, using movement, voice, and intention to bring characters to life. Through focused exercises and short scene work, they’ll explore how to analyze scripts, make clear acting choices, and communicate truthfully on stage. A mid-term showcase will take place November 29 and an end-of-year showcase will take place June 14.

Fee: $655
Register: Opens for registration July 31. This class is presented in partnership with the Evergreen Cultural Centre. Registration is not done through Theatrix but can be done through the Evergreen’s Box office or website here. Save $50 on your registration if signing up for more than one Musical Theatre Academy class at the Evergreen.
