Inspired by Landon Mackenzie: Weather Patterns, families will explore how weather and nature can spark imagination in abstract art. Looking closely at colour, texture and layered marks, we’ll discover how artists translate wind, water and sky into expressive abstract paintings.Â
In the studio, families will explore paint, colour mixing, pattern and playful mark-making as they create their own abstract painting inspired by shifting weather and landscapes. Guided by an artist, this workshop invites all ages to get creative, experiment with layering and enjoy painting together.Â
October 3, Saturday, 12–1:30 PM and 2–3:30 PM
Age: All ages. Children must be supervised by an adult.Â
